Sleepsong
To be lost in
The world of the two
Heaven's fleeting moment
Born again
Without need for atonement
Soft shutting of eyes
Encased in visions
Where he could hear
Laughing drops
Fall like rain
She could be
And he
Could be
And together rest
In the warmth
Of the other
And escape
The lumbering lone
Half dark greeting
That arrived with the dawn
But they were only sleeping
And rise
Leaving the longing
To be lost in
The world of the two
