A Porsche’s effortless pass

Or in

The earnest bulbous nose

Chattering Volkswagen Beetle

Asking only for acceptance

Simply as peoples car

Simple elegance

Or

Wanton wagging

Puppy’s tail

Greeting its master

Who had only been out of sight

A minute

…or two

More earnest really

Than elegant

Cats are elegant

Maybe

But aloof indifference

Alienates

Some

Or

Found it in the flow

Melbourne Opera House or

San Francisco’s Golden Gate

The Eiffel Tower’s towers spire

When viewed from the base

Simple Elegance

Or 

Drowsy Saturday morning

The captured shine 

off her face

In mere movements

As she alone
Washes her hair

Unaware that I see
and find
